I don't know but I've been told,

Clean you plate or it'll get mold

 

Yeah, wash your dishes nice and clean

You do it right or you’ll turn green

 

T’other hand I’ve heard it said

Use too much soap and you’ll wind up dead

 

Now I know a scout who does it right

He’ll show you how if it takes all night

 

Dump the big chunks out and scrape the small

Roll it all up into a tidy ball

 

Throw that ball into the air

Make sure it comes down in that bucket there

 

Knife and fork and spoon and plate

Empty that cup of all its freight
